What to expect
How much do services cost?
Every business needs something different, so each engagement is scoped individually. Monthly retainers start at $1,000 and one-off projects like event photography or a website refresh start at $800. After a short discovery call, I provide a proposal with a few options, so you can see exactly what's included before committing.
Do you work on retainer or per project?
Both. Photography sessions and website migrations are usually one-off projects, while social media management and blog writing work better as monthly retainers. There's no requirement to start with a long commitment, and plenty of clients begin with a single project and move to a retainer once they see how it works.
What does working together look like?
It starts with a short discovery call — what you're working on, what's not working, and what you want more of. From there I'll send a proposal with a few scoped options and clear pricing. Once you pick one, we'll do a kickoff to gather what I need: brand assets, access to your accounts, and a sense of your calendar for the months ahead. After that, you'll see content before it goes out, with time to request changes, and we'll check in monthly to look at what's working and adjust. No account manager or handoff to someone you've never met.
Do you shoot on location?
Yes. I'm based in Indianapolis and work throughout central Indiana. Travel outside of Marion County and surrounding counties does require a travel fee.
How fast is turnaround?
It depends on the work. Photo galleries are typically delivered within four weeks of a shoot. Social content is planned a month ahead, so you always know what's coming. Larger projects like a website refresh get a timeline in the proposal before I start. And when something is time-sensitive, tell me and I'll work around it.
What if I only need photos, not full marketing?
Plenty of clients hire me for a single shoot or a specific campaign. You don't need to buy a strategy package to get good photos.
Do I need to have a brand or strategy already?
No. Building that plan is usually step one!
